PA Banking and Securities will present a workshop to help people avoid common scams and reduce their risk of identity theft.
Avoiding Scams and ID Theft examines how identities are stolen or compromised. We discuss ways to check if your identity has been stolen, what you should do if you find it has been stolen, and how to stop future theft from occurring. We will also review common scams and frauds.
Preregistration is required. The program is free and open to the public.
This program is part of Manheim Community Library’s commitment to helping people reach their greatest potential and meet the demands of 21st century life, as set forth by the PA Forward initiative of Pennsylvania Libraries.
