CODING WITHOUT COMPUTERS
November 17 | noon – 3 PM
Join us to discover Coding without Computers using the LEGO EV3 Mindstorms and the EV3-G programming platform. We will build, program and test solutions for a robot race. Participants will learn to use the EV3 intelligent brick to control motors and collect sensor feedback data. Brainstorming and team work is encouraged in order to find creative solutions to the race centered mission. Participants will develop their unique solution using the engineering process of selecting, building, testing, and evaluating. Ages 10+.
Free. Registration required. Deadline to register is noon on November 14th. For last minute registration, call 717-665-6700 to check availability.
Parents are welcome to bring siblings upstairs to the Library during the program. Our children’s area has toys, games, puzzles, and, of course, a wide selection of books for younger children.
Full STEAM Ahead series: Join us for monthly science, technology, engineering, art, and math explorations just for teens (ages 13+). Each month we will explore a different topic. Snacks provided.
