Young cryptographers will learn about simple codes and ciphers. They will practice solving some classic ciphers and codes and then encode and encipher their own secret messages.
AGES 10+ Free. Registration required. Deadline to register is noon on March 14th. For last minute registration, call 717-665-6700 to check availability.
Parents are welcome to bring siblings upstairs to the Library during the program. Our children’s area has toys, games, puzzles, and, of course, a wide selection of books for younger children.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Scott Baylor has been teaching high school chemistry since 1987 and forensic chemistry since 2003. He earned a BS of Secondary Ed from Bloomsburg University, an MSEd, specializing in learning styles and teaching strategies, from Wilkes University and a crime scene investigation certificate from Kaplan University. He is also an adjunct professor at LVC for the MS STEM Education program.
