Friends of the Manheim Community Library Book Sale

Books for the Friends Fall Book sale are being accepted at the library during library hours. If you will be dropping off a large volume of books, please let us serve you by bringing them to the Donation Drop-off days.

BOOK SALE DONATIONS DROP OFFS

Donate your used books in good condition to the Friends Fall Book Sale. Bring them to the back of the Manheim Community Library at 15 East High Street, Manheim, during the following dates:
  • Saturday, August 17th, 2024 10:00am – 12:00pm
  • Saturday, September 14th, 2024 10:00am – 12:00pm
  • Saturday, October 12th, 2024 10:00am – 12:00pm

Donations should be items that are in good condition (you would be proud to give it to a friend), including:

  • Children’s or teen books
  • Hardcover fiction or non-fiction
  • DVDs
  • Mass market paperbacks (in “like new” condition, copyright 1980 or newer)
  • Trade (large) paperbacks
  • Travel books (copyright within 5 years)
  • clean fabrics and yarn

We Do Not Accept:

  • Text Books
  • Encyclopedias
  • Reader’s Digest condensed versions
  • Pamphlets

FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY BOOK SALE PREVIEW 

Friends of Manheim Community Library receive early access to the Book Sale on Preview Night, Wednesday November 13th from 3pm-5pm.

Not a Friend? Join by mail with a check or online by credit card. Mail-in applications may be picked up at the Library or you may download the FOL Membership Brochure 2024. If you choose to join online, you will need to complete the membership form and payment transaction separately at friends-manheim-community-library.square.site.

Fall Book Sale

The Friends of the Manheim Community Library are hosting their annual Fall Book Sale at the Salem United Methodist Church at

140 N. Penn ST Manheim, PA 17545.

Friends Members Only Preview:

Wednesday, November 13th from 3-5pm

Fall Book Sale dates and hours:

The Book Sale will be held:

Wednesday, November 13th from 5pm-7pm

Thursday, November 14th and Friday, November 15th from 9am-7pm

Saturday, November 16th from 9am-1pm

Saturday Bag Sale:

1 bag – $6+tax

2 bags – $10+tax

Thousands of books, CDs, DVDs, audio books, videos, and puzzles will be available for purchase. Books are suitable for all ages and include many New York Times bestselling authors and award-winning children’s works.

Proceeds from the Friends of the Manheim Community Library Book Sale are used to support the needs of the Manheim Community Library.
