Books for the Friends Fall Book sale are being accepted at the library during library hours. Please specify that you are donating them to the book sale. If you will be dropping off a large volume of books, please let us serve you by bringing them to the Donation Drop-off nights.
BOOK SALE DONATIONS DROP OFF
Saturday, September 9, 2023 10:00am – 12:00pm
Saturday, October 14, 2023 10:00am – 12:00pm
Donations should be items that are in good condition (you would be proud to give it to a friend), including:
- Children’s or teen books
- Hardcover fiction or non-fiction
- Mass market paperbacks (in “like new” condition, copyright 1980 or newer)
- Trade (large) paperbacks
- Travel books (copyright within 5 years)
We Do Not Accept:
- Text Books
- Reader’s Digest condensed versions

Not a Friend? Join by mail with a check or online by credit card. Mail-in applications may be picked up at the Library or you may download the FOL Membership Brochure 2023. If you choose to join online, you will need to complete the membership form and payment transaction separately at friends-manheim-community-library.square.site.
Fall Book Sale
The Friends of the Manheim Community Library are hosting their annual Fall Book Sale at Salem United Methodist Church, 140 N. Penn St.
Fall Book Sale dates and hours:
The Book Sale will be held:
Wednesday, November 8th from 5pm-7pm
Thursday, November 9th and Friday, November 10th from 9am-7pm
Saturday, November 11th from 9am-1pm
1 bag – $6+tax
2 bags – $10+tax
Thousands of books, CDs, DVDs, audio books, videos, and puzzles will be available for purchase. Books are suitable for all ages, and include many New York Times best selling authors and award winning children’s works.
Proceeds from the Friends of the Manheim Community Library Book Sale are used to support the needs of the Manheim Community Library.
